  • Basic statistics

  • Understanding the origin of variability
  • Understanding the origin of normal distribution
  • Know how to calculate capability indicators (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk, z)
  • Measuring the capability of measuring instruments (MSA)
  • Gage R&R and Gage R&R attribute

The ANALYZE phase and its tools (~15 hours)

Objectives

  • Select the DMAIC breakthrough process improvement methodology and demonstrate the relevance of selecting this methodology.
  • Apply the DMAIC phases and their component stages.
  • Define and define the input and output data for each of the DMAIC phases and stages.
  • Select and implement the Lean Six Sigma tools required for a simple DMAIC project.
  • Know how to manage, lead and organize a simple DMAIC project in terms of project management.
  • Demonstrate your ability to lead change as part of the deployment of a simple DMAIC project and a Lean improvement project, or to play an active role in their implementation.

For whom

This course is designed for supervisors, technicians or engineers who have to manage a LEAN or SIX SIGMA project, in order to master the concepts of the method and the DMAIC steps.

Prerequisites

  • Basic use of the Internet and a web browser.
  • A level III qualification and/or 2 years' initial professional experience.
  • Basic knowledge of quality, process management and statistics is a plus.

Duration

88 hours of animated 100% e-Learning, certification practice quizzes, access to Ellistat - Industrial Statistics software for the Six Sigma part, implementation of theoretical points on industrial simulators. The e-Learning is available 24/7 for 6 months for this training course.
